Rarities' favourite female singer-songwriter, Gemma Hayes, will take to the stage at St. John's Priory on Saturday 13th August as part of this year's Kilkenny Arts Festival. Gemma has been garnering all kinds of praise since the release of her fourth studio album, Let It Break, in May. She will be accompanied on the night by Meteor Award nominee, Ann Scott, a highly original singer-songwriter celebrated for her wonderfully unusual sound.
In celebration of Kilkenny's 10-day jam-packed arts extravaganza, the lovely people behing the festival have given me a pair of ticket for Gemma's St. John's Priory gig to offer up on the blog.
