Mostly-Irish, post-grunge miscreants, I Am Not Lefthanded have been mostly buried in their English country studio of late. The hardworking trio are currently recording their first full-length album, The Fire & The Sigh, with funds raised through their partnership with SliceThePie.com last year. Although they're still putting the finishing touches on the forthcoming release, the band are thrilled to announce that the first single from the album, a beautifully melodic track called 'Alone (It's Not So Bad)', is now available for download from their official website, which you can find here.
I Am Not Lefthanded also recently launched the video for the single on YouTube, something the band were particularly excited about: "We had a blast making the video for this one- especially since it's our first time working with extras who weren't tiny carved figures or giant stuffed animals!" You can check the video out below.
I Am Not Lefthanded will be doing a short acoustic tour around Ireland from the 26th-29th of May to promote the new single and try out some of their new material on their loyal legion of fans. The tour will include a stop-off at one of the country's finest live music nights Live @ Boyle's, at Boyle's Pub in Slane, ran by the brilliant Peter Nagle of Irish music blog 2 U I Bestow.
Keep up to date on all the comings and goings of I Am Not Lefthanded by following them on Facebook here, and read my in-depth interview with the adorable trio here.
